Inclusive Pride Flag Redesigns

This page contains my redesign of the Pride flag that aims to be more inclusive of the intersex, trans, Black, brown, people of color, non-binary, and ace/aro/demi communities. This occurs with the inclusion of the trans flag colors in the background, while stripes for HIV/AIDS crisis victims, hate crime victims, non-binary people, and ace/aro/demi people are also included. Finally, two circles of the intersex flag hues are included while, embedded in them are Black, brown, and skin tones found among people of color.
I have created mockups with multiple designs, shapes, etc. but all stay true to the spirit of the piece, which is a letter of affirmation to my community to stay strong and demand representation. These redesigns prioritize segments of our communities that are in need of fair and true representation.

The main Inclusive Pride flag redesign simply centers Black, brown, and people of color as integral segments of our community. Not only are these the majority of the global community of intersex, trans, and queer people, but they are also the pioneers in the struggles for liberation in the modern day, including that of intersex, trans, and queer people. This flag is meant to be a reminder of this very global struggle and the intersections that this struggle crosses in the global psyche as it pertains to intersex, trans, and queer liberation.
